Looking for a Binder/Portfolio for Financial Stuff
jkiley | Nov 6 2006
I have a number of financial/personal items that I would like to keep in a single, accessible place. So far, a binder/portfolio is the best idea that I've come up with. Like many people, I rarely write checks. I also have a couple credit cards that I rarely use and other documents that I would like to have available at home in one place. I thought of a binder, because I could both store and use the contents in a way that just an envelope would not do. Here's my (non-exhaustive) list of the things I would put in it: Checks/Deposit books for four accounts Basically, this is a way to store and use the things that are unavailable/impractical in digital forms. I have looked at the cost of binder checks, and I just cannot justify the higher cost and order quantities for less than 20 checks per year. Any ideas or things that have worked for you guys/girls?
