Fountain Pen Perverts: Question about 'Feel' between two Lamy F nibs

So here's the deal. I have a Lamy Safari and a Lamy Studio, both with a F nib. The Safari writes smoothly and beautifully. The Studio feels "sharp". Like it isn't getting enough ink. It also gets more ink on the top of the nib than the Safari. I don't know if something is wrong with it or what! They both have the same converters and both use Lamy washable blue ink.
