kGTD and Mega Projects
Dr. J | Dec 11 2006
Hi there- I'm gradually getting the hang of things- after fighting it for a month, I've given up and seen the light about contexts. I tried to mini-map them into mini-projects, but finally realized if I need to, just look at my Q$#TQ#ing plan! Here's the challenge: I'm using kGTD to track everything (basically just a way to manage things inside of OmniOutliner) - and have life, general work, home, etc. in here. I've got a MEGA project here- my Doctoral Thesis Revision that I URGENTLY need productivity on. I've been stalling for a year and now am ready to tackle the beast. I have roughly 8-12 Sub-projects/areas of focus inside of my thesis, each with sub-areas/etc. that may crop up as I flesh out the plan. Should I lump this into my overall life GTD/etc. outline, or keep it segregated?
Plus: Clarity/view/etc. (But could also be done by hiding/collapsing everything else in OmniOutliner) I think I've answered my own question, but what do you think? Thanks for your help! POSTED IN:
