”What’s 43 Folders?”
43Folders.com is Merlin Mann’s website about finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.

Your del.icio.us inbox

Del.icio.us has rightfully become a bit of a phenomenon with the web kids. It’s such a great, elegant solution for sharing bookmarks and posting links. For another thing, it’s the totally simple way I run the links section over in the right rail.

I really love my inbox and its subscription functionality, but I’m sort of surprised that more folks don’t seem to use it at all. (I know this because I like to stalk my friends’ inboxes for sources of new stuff.)

Click “subscribe” at the top of most pages to add any user or any tag to your inbox—you can even use the very cool operators function to combine tags (try “funny+blogs” or “cool+design”). Anytime a new post arrives that meets your criteria, it appears in your inbox. Great way to learn about a new topic or stay up to date on an old favorite. Also a swell way to keep up with what you’re friends are enjoying.

yeah, del.icio.us has become my favorite 'killer app'. Can't live w/o it now. doesn't matter where I am (computer wise), I can log my bookmarks there, and have them on my home computer, work computer, wife's computer. it's bliss.

Merlinn - I'm curious as to how you're posting your del.icio.us links in the sidebar here. I put my own feed through rssdigest and am running it to my blog that way. but was wondering how you may have done it differently.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
