As per other posters - those legal disclaimers are sometimes added by the server. At a research institute I once worked with, the mail server was configured to strip off any existing signature and replace it with the 13-line boilerplate. Was it necessary? No - the institute did no sensitive or critical research. It was the work of an under-employed IT department, trying to make itself look useful. » POSTED IN:
