[ via Slashdot ] Damn, this could be pretty big stuff, eh? I'm guessing at least a few of you out there are rabid Blackberry users -- I've never even used one myself, but I have friends who live on theirs. So, I'm curious: How do you feel about the possibility of losing Blackberry service? If it went away today, what would you use instead? Do you have a fallback plan? 24 Comments

My Blackberry IS a cell phone. No need for two devices. I love the instant updates of my calendar from Outlook and the ability to easily select an associated phone number from an e-mail signature block for a two-minute phone response. I don't think this will ever lead to a shutdown, and if it does, RIM has a huge incentive to make the e-mail functionality work. This goes on my "Someday Maybe" list. I've written it down in a trusted system (43 Folders)...and with the helpful comments above, I know I have some Next Action options...I'm on to thinking about other things. » POSTED IN:
