Following up on the earlier post about becoming a better listener, I get the feeling I'm not the only one with problems remembering peoples' names. So how about a few quick tips via Google for remembering names: From How to Remember Names (wittcom.com). Boy, do I ever need this one:

The introduction technique is slick, but everyone knows it. It's the back-handed way of saying "I forgot your name but don't want to admit it. Now I've obligated you to tell me your name without taking any responsiblity". Though to be honest, I am way dependant on the trick.
