Colored 3X5's?

Is anyone using colored 3x5's for an hPDA? Seems like I remember Emory having a green Someday Maybe card. Anyone using different colors for Projects, Next Actions/Contexts, etc? I went to Office Depot today to pick some up to try it out, but they didn't have any plain blank ones for double sided printing. When I think about it all, I'm not sure I would actually like it all that much, but I would like to hear other people's experiences.

I stick to plain white...

I stick to plain white cards, except for the yellow separator and red "stop" card. Everything that goes through my head -- what to pick up at the store, cool projects to do one day, homework -- ends up an equal item on the card(s). I don't differentiate until I process the full cards.

This does require you to retain some "metadata" about each item on the list, though, like it's destination/priority. You could append each item on the list with a code for what list it will end up on (SM for someday/maybe, for example). I think this might remove bias for items. (An item on a dedicated someday/maybe card will stay a someday/maybe item, even if it's more like a regular project when you think about it hours later).

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
