Pens for the left handed?
gtz | Jul 8 2007
Hi. But as I'm left handed, I brush over the freshly written ink = I get a coloured hand.:( So fountain pens seem to be no option. I'm impressed with the Fisher Space Pen. The aim is: Compact and quick drying. cheers P.S.: I have a mechanical pencil at the moment. 24 Comments

GTZ, As a left-hander, I've found that pencils just work better than pens -- the harder the lead, the better. I usually use a California Republic Palomino in the 2H variety, which is a good balance between lead darkness (the softer the better) and less smudginess (the harder the better). If a pen is what you want, well, I've had great luck with the Uniball Visions. As long as your paper is fairly porous, the ink soaks in quickly and doesn't smudge once the side of your hand catches up with your pen tip. Thanks for broaching this great topic! -Andy » POSTED IN:
