I don't think this has really anything to do with GTD but Emory's white paper brought it up. I've tried using Pine and have it set up and everything cooks with gas until I try to send something and it always times out over port 25. I'm not a command line/UNIX guru so I'm a little at a loss at what to do. Anybody use Pine that knows what I'm doing wrong? Daniel 7 Comments

Got it through Pine. Just set the timeout to 90 seconds vice 60. Works like a charm now. I tried to set the relay through postfix but somehow I don't have permission to mess with that and I can't do it through sudo and I don't know enough about why not to mess with it any more. :) I think that's the longest run-on sentence for me ever. ;) » POSTED IN:
