StickyBrain? SOHO Notes/Organizer?
UniAce | Dec 31 2005
Hi all, http://www.chronosnet.com/Products/comparison.html Has anyone used any of these? Any idea on the true virtues of going with one over another? The Organizer includes stuff that would be used instead of iCal and the OS X Address Book, but I'm not sure that i want that. I kind of trust Apple more for long-term support of applications. Any other considerations? 18 Comments

I've used StickyBrain for a few years. What I like about it is the formatting, search and navigation, and integration with the OS via the Services menu and hotkeys. But I only use it for notes - some are just quick jot-downs while others can be very extensive and span multiple stickies. The application offers a few ways to relate notes, such as color-coding and using categories, and I've found mind-mapping suits me better. My usage of StickyBrain has dwindled a lot recently. For fast sticky-notes, I tend to just pop up Apple's Stickies (I don't like their Dashboard Stickies, however), although I do still have a lot of long-term information in StickyBrain. But what's more my style are OmniOutliner and various mind-mapping applications - mostly for notes and information - and I'm starting to explore VoodooPad now, too. » POSTED IN:
