'Super Book'?
alxwz | Mar 17 2007
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and here's my first question: Some time and self management books or seminars here in Germany promote the use of a (hard-bound) book into which everything should go, in chronological order. First, could some native English speaker give me the correct English term for such a book, please? That would make googling so much easier. Secondly, any idea how the use of such a book could possibly map to GTD? Other than a hard-bound inbox, I can't see this fit into the GTD system, although I can see it as potentially useful (no more loose notes, everything in one place, etc.). Thanks in advance, 19 Comments

"Super book": not exactly a log or journalSubmitted by alxwz on March 18, 2007 - 5:07am.
Thanks for the suggestions, but it's not exactly a "log" or "journal". For example, you would put not only your notes from phone call into it, but also the reminder to place a call. Or if it comes to your mind that you have to buy some cheese when in town, you would write "Get cheese when in town" in it. Maybe it would also contain small calculations, whatever. This somehow resembles the "ubiquitous capture tool" or even the GTD inbox itself. BTW: "Superbuch" isn't even a proper German word, either, rather a term coined by some time management experts. » POSTED IN:
