Good PDA for use with Mac

Can anyone recommend a good PDA for use with the Macintosh? I really just need simple stuff (calendar, todos, address book). Currently use Google Calendar, but willing to switch to iCal (or sync with) if necessary. I liked Palm Pilots last time I used them, but that was 5 years ago.

Why leave the Apple walled garden?

There's no way to say this without sounding like a smartass, but what about the iPhone or the new iPod, especially since Stevie dropped the price today? I guess they're still a might more expensive than a nuts & bolts Palm though.
