Quicksilver & Entourage

Hi,

I am an independent project manager and use my Macbook Pro for business so I use Entourage for the work email and Apple mail for my personal email.

Using Quicksilver I can find the contact but the compose email open automatically opens apple mail rather than Entourage. Does anyone know of any way that I can get it to create an Entourage email? Is it possible to choose the application for the email based on the contact?

Any help that anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

Quicksilver & Entourage

I don't know about how to choose the email application based on the contact (or contact group, I suppose), but all I did was change the default email application.

I'm sure there are a few different ways to do this, but from within Apple Mail I went to "Mail | Preferences | General" and changed the default email reader to Entourage. Now every QS "Compose email..." command opens a new Entourage message.

One thing to note - when I did "Email to (send directly)..." from QS, it still sent from the default Apple Mail address. I had to go to "QS | Preferences | Email Options" and specify a custom email address as the one I use through Entourage.

Hope that helps a little.
