This reminds me of that stage where teenage girls randomly start to affect a terrible british accent, or when college freshmen suddenly stop wearing shoes and take up raw foods and the shakuhachi. Of course, this is not to say that I haven't had ideas of my own. ’Fess up: what was your goofiest affectation and what made you stop it? Clarification (2006-07-15 10:20:20): The "In my quest..." portion above is a quotation from the link that is referenced; it's not actually me asking for help to (God forbid) become more eccentric. My last boyfriend wore earplugs (the cylindrical foam kind) everywhere, all the time. Since his hearing is in fact very sensitive, he can hear just fine when he's wearing them. The only time he ever indicated that it affected his hearing was when someone asked why he was wearing the earplugs; he would say "What? What?" repeatedly till they got tired of repeating themselves. He had multiple different colors that he could coordinate with his thriftstore teeshirt, though he favored the kelly green ones most of the time. Additionally, in terms of musical preference, he listened only to Bohemian/Czech classical music and the entire Pearl Jam discography, nothing else. » POSTED IN:
