We've started a new feature over on MacBreak Weekly that I really hope becomes a regular thing: "_Mac Whines_!" Yeah, sure, I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy (I, mean duh), but some stuff about my Mac experience makes me crazy. Have you got a beef with your Mac or OS X you want to shout from the shiny counter of the "Genius" Bar? Yeah, me too. I'll open with:

As this is a whine-list, it can't be a smart, or funny, comment. But, here goes. I recently started minor tagging in OSX, using quicksilver, and would love for OSX to support this natively, both on the input (include with save) and the search side. I'm a little annoyed with my wireless-service not always connecting me automatically, sometimes not recognising my password, or just throwing me off. It could be both an OSX or the provider's problem though. And, finally, Finder is not great either, no. I don't like Pathfinder much either—too bloated—and wished there would be a light commercial alternative (suggestions appreciated). » POSTED IN:
