HPDA vs Pocket Moleskine
Cutshaw | Mar 15 2006
Hello I have an HPDA and a Pocket Moleskine. I find the HPDA a massively useful tool... life chaging, really. I love the Moleskine, but I'm not sure what to use it for. It's a love triangle. How do people tend to find a use for both? (I know a lot of you do!) The reasons for not switching to Moleskine completely: - I love being able to ditch some cards and keep others in the stack, and replenish with new cards whenever I want What's a man to do? I use a combination of hPDA and Pocket Weekly Planner. The hPDA has three stacks: one stack of contextual actions and two stacks of non-contextual actions. (This amounts to 150-250 cards, BTW.) Then I use the Weekly Planner as a calendar (of course) and keep one index card per day with a list of 6 or so things that I'd like to get done that day. That way I don't have to keep moving things that don't get completed from one day to the next in my planner. When I use up a card, I just trash it, and the planner serves it's purpose of displaying the "hard landscape" that David Allen talks about. » POSTED IN:
